Clean land - wealthy man!
The project objectives are: (1) Increasing the population's and decision-makers' awareness on water pollution with nitrates in the rural area of the Calarasi county; (2) Improving local; authorities' and farmers' expertise on agricultural and environmental policies; (3) Promoting good practices in agriculture, having a positive impact on water quality.

The project addresses 680 direct beneficiaries, including farmers, local public authorities, citizens and subsistence farmers. Project activities include the publication of an educational kit, training delivery for farmers and public authorities, an information campaign destined to citizens and subsistence farmers and the development of a media campaign, throughout nine months.

Implementation period: January - October 2006
