The corruptibility of legislation. Case study - the use of wind energy in Romania

The project aims at:
1. Improving NGO capacity to become involved in the elaboration, implementation and monitoring of legislation in order to reduce corruption potential;
2. Raising transparency in the elaboration and implementation of bills, locally and nationally;
3. Increasing civil society involvement in reducing corruption.

Project target groups:

- NGOs;
- representatives of the local and national public administration;
- Companies.

Main activities:

  • Elaboration of a study;
  • Two round tables for NGOs, central and local authorities;
  • A workshop for NGOs to develop corruptibility indicators;
  • An information campaign;
  • A national conference.

Implementation period: January 2010 – November 2010.
Coordinator: ALMA-RO Association.
Partner: The Foundation for Pluralism.
